Cwmlanerch is situated in the Conwy Valley just outside Betws-y-Coed and is an ideal base from which to explore Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales.

The campsite is situated in beautiful surroundings, adjacent to the River Conwy and next to the Gwydir Forest. There is direct access for mountain biking including the Marin Trail (we are the closest site to the Marin Trail).

There is a pleasant walk of 1 mile through the Gwydir Forest into the scenic village of Betws-y-Coed. The village has many eating places, good shops, outdoor pursuit outlets and a golf course. Betws-y-Coed SPAR grocers has a bakery, and there is also a good delicatessen in the village. This path also has access to the beautiful Parc Lake.

Cwmlanerch is an excellent centre for sightseeing in North Wales where there are numerous attractions for all ages. Conwy, an attractive walled medieval town dominated by the Edward I castle is 14 miles away and Llandudno, the elegant seaside resort is 18 miles. The Isle of Anglesey and the stunning scenery of Snowdonia are ideal for sightseeing or more active pursuits such as walking, climbing, sailing, mountain biking and much more.

The campsite is ideally situated for all the adventure activities in the area: Zip Fforest Coaster 2.5 miles, mountain biking at Gwydir Bach & Mawr 2 miles, Surf Snowdonia 6.5 miles, Zip World Titan and Bounce Below 12 miles, Zip World Velocity 15 miles. Snowdon is 11.5 miles from the campsite (Snowdon Sherpa bus available from Betws-y-Coed).
